Created without a camera, Greifbar I challenges the traditional boundaries of photography. Wolfgang Tillmans produced the monumental photogram by directly exposing photosensitive paper to light and manipulating it in the darkroom, creating an abstract composition where light, colour and texture give photography an almost painterly quality.
Now displayed in Mirabaud’s Barcelona offices, the work is one of around 450 pieces in our art collection. Free from restrictions of genre, nationality or medium, the collection reflects a belief in art as a space for freedom, diversity and new perspectives.
For Lionel Aeschlimann, this openness resonates beyond the collection itself. By encouraging us to question and reflect on the world around us, art creates opportunities for dialogue with both Clients and colleagues, and offers a different perspective on the world in which we live.
