Application Manager - Regulatory Reporting

Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Application Manager on clients' and bank's regulatory reporting (Fatca, CRS, MiFIR, MiFID, EMIR, transactions screening, tax reporting, ...)
Defines and monitors the backlog:
- Facilitates workshops and creates functional specifications to ensure coverage of all use cases between the business and the partner responsible for the application during the creation or addition of features;
- Drafts test cases and related acceptance criteria (possibly with the support of a Business Analyst);
- Ensures the consideration of maintenance requests;
- Validates the feasibility study of requests;
- Ensures that the backlog (enhancements and bugs) is visible, transparent, and clear to everyone;
- Ensures proper prioritization of activities and evolution requests with technical teams and partners.
Oversees the development of the application:
- Provides clear instructions to the technical teams;
- Ensures that the teams build the right functionality and operationalize the application according to detailed requirements;
- Enforces obligations and best practices related to the application (security, Data Protection, compliance & Regulation, methodology);
- Supports the Release Manager in planning and deploying the delivery;
- Participates in testing efforts (on the SIT environment) and acceptance of the application by the Domain Expert (in the UAT environment based on the test cases he/she has written);
- Ensures the quality of the application;
- Provides training and documentation support for users.
Supports operations during the application's RUN phase (in collaboration with the Operation Manager):
- Documents the deployment process for the production team and ensures project-to-run transfer;
- Defines recurring tasks to orchestrate and execute;
- Contributes to the resolution of incidents and issues related to the application (in collaboration with level 2 and level 3).
When required:
- Participates in sessions at the request of the Product Owner with the partner responsible for the development and operation of the application (development monitoring, service acceptance, performance tracking and innovation sessions);
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Information Sciences ;
- Technical expertise and functional knowledge related to regulatory reporting ;
- A proven ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal direct supervision ;
- Leadership, empathy, and strong communication skills ;
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or information sciences ;
- Flexibility and adaptability to change ;
- Fluent French & English;
