IT Field Services Specialist (1 year contract)

Job Description
- User lifecycle management
- Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new employees
- Decommission and securely wipe IT assets during off-boarding
- Coordinate access rights, group memberships, and software provisioning
- IT Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets
- Track equipment lifecycles and ensure timely replacements
- Application Deployment
- Support software rollouts and version upgrades
- Hardware Support
- Replace and upgrade desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on-site
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on support for IT incidents and service requests
- Assist users with connectivity, printing, and authentication issues
- Escalate complex problems to second-level support when necessary
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- 2+ years of field service or desktop support experience, preferably within financial services;
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools;
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, identity management systems, and internal access portals;
- Proven ability to support mobile devices and peripherals (printers, scanners);
- Experience with enterprise video-conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams);
- Very good communication skills, adapting style for technical and non-technical audiences;
- Customer-centric mindset, demonstrating patience, and a solution-oriented attitude;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively;
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting;
- Fluent French & English.
