A day in your future job:
Strengthen the AML-Market team by providing your expertise in the following areas:
- Dealing with the various requests received in connection with cash and securities counterparties, in particular via MT199, RFI or email;
- Dealing with the various requests received in connection with fund administrators and/or transfer agents, in particular by email (trading funds);
- Dealing with the various requests received in connection with credit card issuers, in particular concerning additional clarifications in connection with the clients who hold them;
- Preparing and reviewing the annual questionnaires sent to banking counterparties (Wolfsberg questionnaire, AML, etc.); Dealing with the periodic High-Risk and PEP reviews; carrying out press and adverse news research; preparing the annual High-Risk and PEP reviews; carrying out press and adverse news research; preparing the annual High-Risk and PEP reviews. );
- Process periodic High-Risk and PEP reviews; carry out press and adverse news research; prepare a full review sheet;
- Analyse High-Risk and PEP account opening files; carry out press and adverse news research; prepare a Compliance analysis sheet;
- Participate in Management Committees for account openings and periodic reviews;
- Analyses ‘prospect’ files transmitted by the MROs and which present risk criteria in accordance with our internal guidelines;
- Processes ‘name screening’ alerts;
- Analyses and processes ‘market abuse’ type transactional alerts;
- Analyses the opening of new ‘business introducer’ and ‘independent asset manager’ relationships;
- Carries out the annual review of the ‘business introducer’ and ‘independent asset manager’ relationships.
- Carry out monthly controls on various subjects (opening of standard accounts, changes in risk, complex structures, etc.). )
- Preparing and distributing internal reports (KPI/KRI) and contributing to regular reporting on the team's activities;
- Providing support to the Front Office on AML/Market issues, particularly in connection with requests to open accounts, reviews or bank counterparties;
- Responding to requests from internal/external auditors;
- Participating in the analysis of the AML/Market activities of the Bank's foreign entities, as a Head Office team;
- Drafting, maintaining and updating the governance texts (directives, procedures, guides) governing the team's activities.
Qualifications
Your assets to succeed:
- University degree or a degree considered equivalent, preferably from a Swiss university; CAS in Compliance is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a bank in Switzerland;
- Solid knowledge of Swiss law and additional training in banking compliance, in particular with regard to the fight against money laundering and to sanctions issues;
- Excellent resistance to stress, work with methodology and rigorous, team player, adaptable and flexible;
- Good oral and written communication skills in French and in English;
- Excellent skills in the MS office and in Bloomberg.
