Job Description
The focus is on strategy and execution, the role is much more than administrative support; the Assistant to the CEO acts as a “partner”, involved in planning, project management, and analysis.
Data-Driven Decision Support: Analyze data and present insights to guide strategic discussions and decisions, preparing the CEO with the information needed to make informed decisions.
Execution Oversight: Track key projects, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration within MAM and with WM, and ensure alignment of efforts toward the Group's strategic goals.
Strategic Planning: Actively participate in executive meetings, offering insights on strategic initiatives and keeping the CEO up-to-date on business metrics, and potential challenges.
Here’s how this would impact day-to-day activities:
Support in Strategic Planning:
- Assist the CEO in developing, refining, and executing the company’s strategic plan.
- Participate in strategic discussions with the executive team, offering analysis, and insights to inform decision-making.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO on key performance metrics related to strategic initiatives
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage cross-functional projects that are critical to MAM and the Group’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to ensure projects align with MAM’s strategic goals and timelines.
- Track progress and follow up on the execution of projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Prepare and present status reports on the implementation of strategic initiatives to the CEO and the ExCo, identifying risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Coordinate and communicate with different departments to ensure projects are moving forward and aligned with the MAM's priorities.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct data analysis on strategic initiatives, business plans, compiling business performance metrics, and financial reports for the CEO and ExCo.
- Synthesize complex information and distill it into key insights and action items that align with the ’s strategic priorities.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for the CEO to use in executive meetings, board discussions, or partners presentations.
Decision Support:
- Prepare summary reports, briefings, and presentations that provide the CEO with key insights and data needed for informed decision-making.
Execution of Strategic Initiatives:
- Take ownership of specific strategic projects assigned, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion.
Change Management:
- Support the CEO and the ExCo in creating a culture of accountability and excellence by aligning team objectives with the strategic goals of the company.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with the CEO and ExCo to explore new business opportunities, partnerships, or acquisitions that align with the company’s long-term vision.
Qualifications
- Graduate-level qualification (Economics, Business or Law)
- A first experience within a consulting firm, or in Finance or Asset Management is a must.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Suite (especially Excel and Power Point).
- Self-motivated, curious, solution oriented, ability to perform at high level and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Fluent in French and English (min. C1).
- Available immediately and for the next 12 months.
