Stars at the helm

It's the return of an exciting documentary series which brings together some of the world's most talented young sailors for one big regatta - and even more than that: The Sailing Squad season 2!

On the occasion of the 83rd edition of the Bol d'Or Mirabaud, we have launched season 2 of our mini-series "The Sailing Squad".

This time, follow a team of young 100% feminine international sailors. Trained in Valencia, where they have taken over their new hydrofoil boat, a 69F Persico, they then meet again in Geneva for the mythical Bol d'Or Mirabaud sailing race. The four young sailors are mentored by double Olympic champion and British TV presenter Shirley Robertson.

They have four days to get to know each other, set up a strategy, discover Lake Geneva and the boat that will take them on this adventure.

A lot of things will happen to them during this journey, surprises and above all a lot of emotion for memories that will remain engraved in their minds forever.

PRESENTATION

Born on Caribbean island Curacao, I played every possible sport when I was young,  but with my dad being an Olympian Sailor the blood was strong to continue with sailing.  Back in the Netherlands for a better education and now living in the Hague, it's become home a bit as well. At the age of 14, I had no doubt sailing was what I wanted to do in my life, my biggest passion, and I wanted to do everything I could to keep bettering myself. I feel very lucky that my biggest passion has also become my career. My goal is to become the best sailing version of myself, which means everyday I learn something is a good day. At the moment full focus is on the Paris 2024 Olympics.
