Fraud warning and the Mirabaud Group

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Please read if you have received a “cold call” from an individual purporting to be a Mirabaud Group employee

It has been brought to our attention that certain individuals have been using the Mirabaud Group name fraudulently and have been misrepresenting themselves as a named employee of Mirabaud. These individuals have been approaching potential investors across Europe in an attempt to get those investors to purchase investments, mainly equities and bonds, from the Mirabaud Group.

You should note that Mirabaud does not undertake such cold calling practices and Mirabaud only calls investors to discuss potential investments where it has pre-existing contractual arrangements in place.

In general, you should not respond to any “cold call” purporting to come from the Mirabaud Group, but refer the approach to the Mirabaud addresses given below. Furthermore, we would urge you to report the approach to the Financial Conduct Authority's Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768 (+ 44 (0) 207 066 1000 if overseas), or email consumer.queries(at) and also Action Fraud (the National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting centre) on 0300 123 2040 or via the internet at

United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority Register - Individuals

As the individuals have used the name of a Mirabaud employee already on the Financial Conduct Authority’s Register, you are strongly advised to directly contact the London Compliance Department to confirm the validity of the approach. The Compliance Department will be able to directly liaise with that employee.

United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority Register - Corporations

These attempts at fraud have to date emanated from within the United Kingdom, by individuals representing companies who are not authorised by the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority, (“FCA”), to undertake investment business. In the United Kingdom, you can check whether a company (and individual) is authorised to undertake investment business by searching the FCA register at:

You are strongly advised to check this register if you are contacted by anyone purporting to represent Mirabaud in the United Kingdom. If you are unable to confirm the identity of the company because they do not appear on the register or appear to be operating outside of the United Kingdom, or if you still have concerns, you should contact Mirabaud’s London Compliance Department immediately, as set out below:

By email:               compliance(at)

Telephone:           + 44 (0) 207 878 3412

Alternatively, you can contact Mirabaud’s Head Office using the “Contacts” page on this website.

In all the above cases, the use of the Mirabaud identity and logo is without our permission. Mirabaud does not have any connection with these individuals and we can accept no responsibility for their actions. In the event that you purchase any investments from these individuals you will have no recourse to Mirabaud and in the United Kingdom, you will not be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
