Illicit Use of Mirabaud Group Company Names
Information to the public on the illicit use of Mirabaud Group company names
Mirabaud Group has been informed of the illicit use of its logo and company names, and in particular of the creation of websites usurping them.
During direct (telephone contacts) or indirect solicitations (solicitations by e-mail and/or social networks), unauthorised third parties invite the public to subscribe to a service and/or a financial product, which they misrepresent as being issued, guaranteed or operated by Mirabaud Group and its entities. These third parties sometimes use documents and/or websites that mention Mirabaud Group and/or use a domain name that does not correspond to the usual domain names and/or have no connection with Mirabaud Group and its entities.
Mirabaud Group confirms taking necessary measures in front of an illicit use, in particular by reserving the right to take legal action against any undue use of its name, logo, the name and/or image of its employees.
We encourage to exercise the utmost caution
The public is strongly encouraged to exercise the utmost caution in the front of investment solicitations, which promise exceptional returns.
If you have any doubts or are in a corresponding situation, we recommend that you:
- Take the time to reflect on too attractive solicitations, applying a pressing commercial approach.
- Take the time to check the solicitation legitimacy, using public sources and, in particular, the websites of supervisory authorities that list the persons and companies authorized to provide a financial product or service; Blacklist may also be relevant sources.
- Contact Mirabaud Group, through the usual communication channels, to check whether the Group or the designated entity is actually involved in the solicitation.
- Assess what data is required or has been transmitted to avoid your personal information being used for illicit purposes.
Victims or persons approached in this way are also invited to contact the local authorities and consider filing a complaint.

In general, the Mirabaud Group does not use domain names such as yahoo, gmail or other free services.
